Mission
Find solution to all kind of problems/difficulties faced by the defence civilian pensioners/family pensioners with regard to payment of pension/revision of pension and other rights of a defence civilian pensioner such as CSD, CGHS facilities etc. Take all efforts to solve the problems likely to arise time to time related to welfare of the members. Disseminate govt decisions /orders among the members.
ABOUT US
Defence Civilian Pensioners Association (Kerala Chapter) (DCPA(KC)) established in April 2014. A General Body meeting was held at Kayankulam and an eighteen body executive council was formed with Shri T P Gopalakrishnan as chairman and Shri S Ram Mohan Unnithan as General Secretary. With relentless effort of the above team a byelaw was framed and the association got registered under Travancore Cochin registration act.
The association has full faith in national sovereignty, integrity and in the constitution of India, it is a nonpolitical, non-communal organization and aimed to the welfare of retired defence civilian pensioners and of the society as a whole. DCPA (KC) make united sincere efforts by members, within the byelaw to alleviate difficulties being faced by defence civilian pensioners and family pensioners with regard to payment of pension/revision of pension and other rights of a defence civilian pensioner.
All efforts would be taken to solve the problems likely to arise due in their old age and work hard to make their life more easier, peaceful and confortable. DCPA (KC) develop plans for social betterment of life of the up-coming generation by utilizing the knowledge and experience gained through their honest and praise worthy services rendered by them under the various defence establishments.
DCPA (KC) functions under two tiers elected body viz a central committee and presently six zonal committees The apex body is central executive committee with a chairman and general secretary, zonal committees are with presidents and secretaries.
Period of both committees are one year from 01 Apr to next year end March. General body meetings of all zones would be completed by March end and office bearers are elected by the members of each zone. Central executive council members are also elected by members of all zones during March/April every year.
